From Les Cèdres to Yalla!
In 1996, Raymond and Jocelyne Haddad opened the doors to Les Cèdres, starting what would become a family business spanning nearly 30 years.
A lot has changed since then. Les Cèdres closed its doors in January 2024, and a year later we reopened under a new name: Yalla! Le Comptoir Libanais. But some things haven’t changed. Raymond is still here, cutting the shish fresh every day and making sure things are done the way they should be — usually with a smile on his face.
Today, their sons, Nicolas and Alex, have joined them and taken over the next chapter of the business.
Our goal is pretty simple: keep the same quality and standards that have been at the heart of this restaurant since 1996, while continuing to grow and build something of our own.
Almost 30 years later, it’s still a family business — and we’re excited for where the next chapter takes us.
